A choice between distally or proximally fitting volar distal radius plates. The Acu-Loc 2 Volar Distal Radius Plating System offers a complete array of surgical options, including the new proximal plate family that gives surgeons the ability to choose between distally or proximally fitting plates.
Improved plate placement and ease of fracture reduction with unique tools such as the Plate Positioning Handle and radiolucent Targeting Guides with embedded plate positioning posts that help guide the surgeon during plate placement.
Assists in restoring the original geometry of the patients’ anatomy through the optimized lower plate profile, highly polished surface, flush screws and an anatomical design.
Maximized support and accurate fracture reduction with close anatomical replication of the contours of the distal radius.
Percutaneous reduction of difficult dorsal fragments with the unique cannulated Frag-Loc Compression Screw that provides compression between dorsal and volar fragments.

Plate Options

Acu-Loc 2 Volar Distal Radius (VDR) Plates: Comprised of 10 silver colored plates, these distal fitting plates offer maximum coverage for complex intra-articular fractures.
Acu-Loc 2 Proximal VDR Plates: These 10 gold colored plates were designed for surgeons who prefer a more proximal plate placement.
Acu-Loc 2 Extension Plates: Three different extension plate options offer the ability to extend the longest of the Acu-Loc 2 Proximal VDR Plates rigidly - to address fractures that extend into the diaphyseal region. The limited bone contact by the plates reduces constriction of blood supply to the periosteum.
Acu-Loc Dorsal Plates: Offer four different anatomic plates for fractures that need to be addressed from the dorsal side.
Acu-Loc Volar Distal Ulna (VDU) Plates: The system also offers four locking plates for peri-articular fractures of the distal ulna.
