Key Features
Key Features
The Acutrak 6/7 includes all the benefits of the Acutrak family, plus:
- Strength: The Acutrak 6/7 is twice as strong in midpoint bending as an AO 7.3mm screw — making it an excellent solution for subtalar arthrodesis and femoral condyle fractures. As these weight-bearing areas are subject to hardware loosening and/or breakage with traditional headed screw fixation, the Acutrak 6/7 provides superior strength with all the benefits of headless fixation.
- Straightforward application: Sturdy guide wires and a strong hex driver ease insertion, while the Acutrak 6/7’s length and large diameter make fixation stronger for reconstructive hindfoot and ankle procedures and for a number of upper extremity indications.
