Course Overview
This panel based course provides opportunities to hear key opinion leaders examine the latest advancements and trends in orthopaedics. The clinical x-ray review forum encourages open dialogue to discuss tips, pearls and best-practices. Each cadaveric lab session allows attendees to compare different fixation options for common foot and ankle injuries.

Target Audience
This course is aimed toward orthopaedic surgeons who treat foot and ankle trauma and reconstruction.


R. Bruce Simpson, MD | Course Chairman

R. Bruce Simpson, MD, is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon currently serving as the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma at Ft Walton Beach Medical Center in Florida. He received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine and served 27 years active duty as a Naval Officer. He has held academic positions at the Uniformed Services University, Penn State University School of Medicine, and SUNY Upstate Health Sciences Center. He has lectured and published extensively, and continues to coordinate funded research, and pursues a lifelong commitment to teaching Residents and Fellows.
