Please join our faculty, Dr. Daniel Miller, as he shares his insights to using resorbable plates for chest wall reconstructions and pectus repair after a modified Ravitch. Dr. Miller will first cover hit approach and surgical planning for how to approach a chest wall reconstruction using bioresorbable plates. His second point of discussion will include how to select a patient a pectus repair after a modified Ravitch with an emphasis on muscle sparing and stabilization. Both topics will include case reviews with discussions about resorbable plating technologies.
Dr. Daniel Miller
Dr. Miller is a world-renowned leader and Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Atlanta, Georgia. After residency at Georgetown University Hospital, he completed his fellowships in Cardiovascular Research and Cardiovascular Surgery. He is also Professor of Surgery at Medical College of Georgia Regents University.
