Acumed Anterior Clavicle Plates
  • Tapered Plate Ends
Designed to reduce the risk of peri-prosthetic fractures due to stress concentrations.
  • Precise Screw Placement
The trajectory of the screw targets quality bone stock for a strong and stable construct.
  • Limited-contact Design
This design is intended to ease compression of the periosteum.
  • Size
Five plates are available in 6-, 8-, and 10-hole lengths to precisely match the anatomical curvature of the clavicle.
  • Integrated K-wire Holes
.062" K-wire holes for provisional stabilization.

The Acumed Anterior Clavicle Plate is designed for surgeons who prefer an anterior approach to treat malunions, nonunions, and fractures of the medial, midshaft, and lateral third clavicle. These anatomically contoured plates increase screw purchase in the clavicle and act as a template to aid with anatomic restoration. In addition, the low-profile design may help minimize postoperative soft tissue irritation. Five Anterior Plates are designed for complex oblique fracture patterns as well as for surgeons who prefer an anterior approach.

Case Series: Clavicle Fracture

In this series of eight case studies, William B. Geissler, M.D., and Robert Orfaly, M.D., use the Acumed Locking Clavicle J-Plate, Locking Superior Clavicle Plate, Locking Anterior Clavicle Plate and Locking Distal Clavicle Plate to treat a range of clavicle fractures including a lateral-third clavicle fracture, a displaced midshaft clavicle fracture and nonunion and malunion midshaft clavicle fractures.
