OsteoMed ExtremiFix Cannulated Screw System - Mini & Small
Headless Cannulated screw options are designed to offer minimized hardware prominence after countersinking, compared to headed screws.
Differential pitch between the cancellous, greater-pitched, leading threads and the cortical, finer-pitched, trailing threads are designed to provide compression across the fracture or fusion site.
The OsteoMed ExtremiFix™ Cannulated Screw System | Mini & Small is designed to provide a minimally invasive method of anatomical fixation, and is indicated for use in bone reconstruction, osteotomy, arthrodesis, joint fusion, fracture repair, and fracture fixation of bones appropriate for the size of the device. Screws in the system are offered in four diameters: 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, and 4.0 mm to accommodate various fracture patterns and patient anatomy. The system offers options for partially threaded, headed, or headless screws in various lengths for applications in both upper and lower extremities.
