Radial Head Neck Fracture

November 21, 2024

A radial head or neck fracture is a break in the radius bone at the elbow. They are common, accounting for about 30% of all elbow fractures and 1.7–5.4% of all adult fractures. They are usually caused by falling onto an outstretched hand, such as when falling off monkey bars, skates, or a scooter, or from a hard hit in a contact sport.
